TechBite's JDownloader Tech Tips

• If you have any trouble with download timeouts, add java.exe and javaw.exe to your firewall exclusion list.
  
  
• Reduce the Maximum Connections setting (it's at the bottom right corner of JDownloader window) to one or two, and limit the maximum downloads to five.
  
  
• Trouble with downloads that stall? JDownloader is written in Java and it needs the most current version to work correctly. Get it on Java's download page.
  
  
• If you get a SocketTimeoutException error when trying to download, from RapidShare, disable direct download in your RapidShare premium zone. That allows JDownloader to select the server.
